About Me.

I’m Gerardo Ramos, the filmmaker and photographer behind Visual Ops Media. My creative journey began more than a decade ago, following 12 years of service in the United States Marine Corps and United States Army. My military experience shaped the discipline, adaptability, leadership, and attention to detail that continue to define my work.

Today, I serve as the Media Director for Grey Team, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of military veterans. In this role, I oversee visual media production, creating compelling documentaries, veteran testimonials, promotional content, and event coverage that bring meaningful stories to life. From directing interviews and coordinating multi-camera productions to capturing powerful, unscripted moments, my work combines technical expertise with authentic storytelling.

Through Visual Ops Media, I bring that same experience and creative approach to businesses, organizations, athletes, milestone celebrations, intimate weddings, and individuals looking for professional photography and cinematic video.

Beyond the camera, being a father has given me a deeper appreciation for the moments that matter most. It's a perspective that carries into my work, reminding me that photography and film aren't just about what we capture today, but the memories and stories we preserve for tomorrow.

I'm proud to call Boca Raton, Florida, home, serving clients throughout South Florida and beyond.
